Nanotechnology
In principle when structures and systems are being created or manipulated at a size level below 100 nanometers one could claim that it is “nanotechnology”. In the world of science, the word “nano” means one billionth of a unit; a “nanometer” is thus one billionth of a meter.
When being enabled to work at the nano level product capabilities can be improved at the same time as the production efficiency is being improved.
